Visa applications are now made exclusively online, through the official portal of the Togolese government. Please have your passport, an identity photograph and your travel certificate ready.
Renewing your passport requires you to attend the embassy in person so that your biometric fingerprints can be taken. Please book an appointment online and gather the required documents (old passport, birth certificate, etc.).
Processing times range from 5 to 10 working days depending on the type of document requested (consular card, document legalisation, certificate of celibacy, etc.).
The embassy is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Consular counters may have specific hours for submitting and collecting documents (usually by appointment only).
Consular registration is strongly recommended for all Togolese nationals living abroad. It is completed by filling in the community registration form and makes your administrative procedures easier.
